It is possible that he is the Alexander Robertson detailed in the IGI, who was born in 1747, married in 1770 and died in 1817. In which case:
He was born and Christened 4 Oct 1747
Married 14 Jan 1770 Isabel Stuart (or Stewart) Old Machar, Aberdeen
Had 2 Children, 1st Child Margaret Robertson born 18 Nov 1770 and died 1851. She married Robert Stuart (born c. 1766) on 9 Aug 1806
2nd child Alexander Robertson, born 24 Aug 1774 at ... of Waterford, Scotland. Christened 24 Aug 1874 and died 14 March 1817 Old Machar, Aberdeen

The IGI has father and identically named son both dying on the same day, which appears more than somewhat unlikely.
OPR Old Machar film reel 0991142 Vol 10 merely states
"Alexander Robertson labourer from Aberdeen was buried in the kirkyard" 14 March 1817. Therefore unclear which Alexander Robertson, if either!
NB there is a lot of info about the family on the IGI, if this is the right Alexander Robertson. But there is a lot of inconsistency there as well...
