John Hutcheon 1844 - 1850

Before he came to Outseats, John was resident at 80 Bon Accord Street, Aberdeen, from 1841 to 1844, and at 74 Bon Accord Street before that (although this could be the same house if the street had been renumbered). According to the Aberdeen directory entry he was at Outseats by 1845.

In the 1841 Census, at Bon Accord Street, the entry is:

In 1841 John Hutcheon, from the census,  lived next to Thomas Blaikie (39), Merchant Provost of Aberdeen and his family, Agnes Dingwall Blaikie (35), Agnes Blaikie (8), Jane Blaikie (6) and Anna Blaikie (1). It appears likely that the Blaikies advised the Hutcheons that their old house was vacant, hence the Hutcheons move to Outseats.

Described as esquire
