Outseats Unoccupied 1851
The property was referred to as being in Hardgate Road in 1851. As mentioned above, the enumeration district applicable to Outseats House was different in 1851 to that which applied for Outseats cottage.
According to the census, the house was unoccupied until William Mortimer moved in, possibly later in the same year.
